TRB Launches Careers in Motion Job Center

TRB has recently launched the Careers in Motion Job Center. The Careers in Motion Job Center is an online platform created to support the broader transportation industry’s impending challenges around attracting and retaining its professional workforce. The website will serve to curate professional transportation jobs from multiple employers and disciplines that are based around the world and connect these jobs to the broader TRB community. Employers can create a profile and pay a fee to post jobs and review resumes–while jobseekers can post resumes, browse open positions, and apply to jobs at no cost.

The website will also build upon the small but growing transportation employer network that TRB has been cultivating to participate in the TRB Careers in Motion Networking Fair which will take place in conjunction with the 2018 TRB Annual Meeting. The Fair will be held in part to support the transportation community’s efforts to build awareness of and expand the transportation workforce.

All 2018 TRB Annual Meeting registrants may attend the Careers in Motion Networking Fair. Individuals seeking to attend the Careers in Motion Networking Fair who are not otherwise registered for the 2018 TRB Annual Meeting may obtain a $50 one-day “Sunday Expo-Only” registration*, which will be available onsite at the Expo-Only registration desk, and cannot be purchased in advance.

The Sunday Expo-Only registration includes access to the following events, all of which are at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington DC:
