National Center for Sustainable Transportation Publishes Report on Employee Retention and Knowledge Management

The National Center for Sustainable Transportation (NCST) published the Vermont Agency of Transportation Employee Retention and Knowledge Management Study. This report covers applied research efforts to determine the state of employee retention and knowledge management at the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and provide tools to help with both retention and knowledge management issues. This study involved an assessment of organizational turnover and knowledge management practices at VTrans, a scan of other state departments of transportation retention and knowledge management practices, and a pilot project to address both issues.
