Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET
Effective use of institutional knowledge has become a crucial factor to an organization’s success and survival for years. Whether it is speeding up access to information, improving decision making processes, or enhancing the responsiveness of key employees, Knowledge Management has become a critical goal for any organization. However, as the amount of information available grows exponentially, properly utilizing that information is a key first step to developing a comprehensive knowledge management plan. In this webinar, out two speakers will show you effective ways in which their organizations collected information and created extensive knowledge management plans.
Jez Arroway will share how the Idaho Transportation Department is building a foundation of information management, and how that sets the stage for creating knowledge management. After 10 years of trial and error, the Peace Corps launched PCLive in 2015, the agency’s first-ever global knowledge sharing platform for staff and volunteers.
