The National Network for the Transportation Workforce will be hosting a free webinar on April 28th exploring the continuing development of  the nation’s first ever on-line Highway Maintenance Associates Degree. This 2-year degree program (60 credits across 4 semesters) prepares individuals for management positions in Highway Maintenance within federal, state, county, and municipal agencies, and highway contractors. Program graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Highway Maintenance Management.

This is an excellent professional development opportunity for highway managers to develop skills in project management, planning, supervision, communication, and team building. Prior industry experience, skills, training, and certifications can all be applied toward degree attainment. Program curriculum goes beyond technical training to deliver management competencies that increase individual/team professionalism and critical thinking skills that will help prepare the next generation of leaders in maintenance management.
