Abstract:
This report describes the results of a project that focused on developing a web-based database of public transportation investment projects and associated economic and land development outcomes for use by transportation planners. This database provides planners and other transportation professionals with real world examples and information on project factors that provided positive and negative impacts. This report is divided into five sections: (1) background and objectives; (2) case study selection and compilation; (3) web tool development; (4) guidance for web tool use; and (5) conclusions and follow-up research.
