The Washington State Department of Transportation has scholarships available for tuition assistance for approved training for a variety of trades related to highway construction, including carpenters, electricians, cement masons, painters, truck drivers, iron workers, heavy equipment operators and mechanics, and more. The scholarship is aimed at women, minority, or disadvantaged Washington residents.
