Washington DOT offers scholarships for women, minorities preparing for highway construction careers

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR WOMEN, MINORITIES PREPARING FOR HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION CAREERS

The Washington Department of Transportation Office of Equal Opportunity’s On-the-Job Training Support Services has announced scholarship opportunities to encourage women, minorities, and other target populations to become part of the highway construction workforce in a wide range of skilled trades. Awards may be applied to tuition, books, and supplies. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
